The Vermilion Cliffs National Monument straddles the Arizona/Utah border. A few miles south of the Arizona border, you’ll find Paria Canyon - Coyote Buttes. If you’re willing to drive eight miles of dirt, then hike three miles of sand and slickrock, you’ll find one of the true treasures of the American southwest – “The Wave”. This one-quarter square mile wind & water sculptured sandstone butte is like no other place on earth.
